A superb George III solid silver card tray / waiter with crisp hallmarks underneath for London 1783 and clear silver maker's marks for John Crouch I and Thomas Hannam, known particularly as makers of the best fine quality silver trays and waiters. This very smart tray stands on three feet with beaded edges and the circumference of the tray is also beaded. Nicely sized; the tray is 18 cm diameter width.

A wonderful antique for a collector of early silver by a very renowned and collectable maker.

Condition:  In super condition. (There is some very light surface scratching to the tray, expected with age and mentioned for accuracy only.  Underneath the tray on one side there is some slight linear marking visible when held in a certain angle - this does not in anyway detract from the item.) See image 6.

Hallmarks:  London 1783 by John Crouch I & Thomas Hannam.

Measurements:  Diameter width:  18 cm.  Height:  2.8 cm    Weight: 318 grams
