A beautifully ornate antique round silver photograph frame.
The back is wooden with a sturdy hinged easel stand that works perfectly. A truly stunning frame that would make a wonderful gift.
Clear hallmarks are visible on the front of the frame for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1901 and Lion Passant to indicate sterling silver. Maker's marks are also visible for John Edward Wilmot. The frames aperture is a good practical size for a photograph measuring 10 x 10 cm.
